Visual Artist in Watercolor, Oil and Pastels Available for Commissioned Artwork Specializing in Alaskan Landscape and Wildlife Art Mark Knapp moved to Alaska from Minnesota in 1984 to pursue dreams of becoming a big game guide, commercial fisherman and trapper. Throughout his years in the field, he has had many memorable experiences in remote parts of Alaska, but found it difficult to describe in words or even photos. It is his hope that he can accomplish this through his artwork. In 1998 he began formal training at the University of Alaska Fairbanks with prominent local and out-of-state artists.
